The COMPETE Management Authority is responsible for managing and executing the Operational Competitiveness Programme - COMPETE - as part of the National Strategic Reference Framework.
The Management Authority consists of the Management Committee and Technical Secretariat.
The Technical Secretariat provides technical support to the manager and Management Committee in the performance of their duties. Its configuration was established by Council of Ministers Resolution 25/2008 of 13 February. Ordinance 25291/2008 of 10 October and Ordinance 3006/2010 of 8 February appointed the technical secretaries in charge of the different units of the Technical Secretariat at COMPETE.
The COMPETE Management Committee ensures articulation with the management committees of the regional OPs in the corporate investment incentive schemes funded by the ERDF. The aims are efficacy and coordinated management in the drafting and approval of the Annual Incentive Scheme Tender Plan, publishing invitations to submit applications and the work of the Incentive Scheme Selection Committee.
The COMPETE Management Authority is also responsible for the process of recognising, monitoring and assessing competitiveness and technology poles and other clusters.
