Encontra-se aberto um concurso para a atribuição de uma Bolsa de Investigação no âmbito do projecto de I&D “Consequências moleculares e de genética populacional das interacções citonucleares – o modelo Podarcis/ Molecular and population genetic consequences of cytonuclear interactions: the Podarcis model” no ICETA-Instituto de Ciências e Tecnologias Agrárias e Agro-Alimentares (EXPL/BIA-EVF/1283/2012), financiado por fundos nacionais através da FCT/MCTES (PIDDAC) e co-financiado pelo Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional (FEDER) através do COMPETE – Programa Operacional Factores de Competitividade.

Requisitos de admissão: Candidates should hold an MSc degree in Bioinformatics (or Biological Sciences with an emphasis on bioinformatics) and experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analyses and de novo transcriptome assembly. Fluency in at least one computer programming language is required. The candidate will work within an international team, hence fluency in English will be highly valued. Although the candidate will have the support of a bioinformatics team, some degree of autonomy is expected.
Local de trabalho: The work will be conducted at CIBIO (Campus Agrário de Vairão).
Duração da bolsa: The grant has duration of 12 months, starting in November 11 2013.
Forma de publicitação/notificação dos resultados: Final results will be an ordered candidate list published at CIBIO facilities and the approved candidate will be contacted by email or phone. The final results will be also communicated to the remaining candidates by email.
