A event was held on the 17th of July at the Congress Centre in the Junqueira in Lisbon for the signing of contracts related to the recognition of and support for the revitalisation of 11 competitiveness poles and 8 other clusters, within the scope of the Strategies for Collective Efficiency of the QREN.
The event was attended by the Minister for Economic Affairs and Finance. In all, 19 contracts were signed, benefiting over 2500 projects involving about 600 entities – mainly SMEs – in the following areas: health, fashion, the agro-industrial sector, energy, petrochemicals, mobility, production technologies, information and communication technologies, tourism, habitat, creative industries, natural stone, furniture, wines from the Douro region and the marine economy.
This initiative involves a total investment of 2,086,880 thousand euros, eligible for public financing under the COMPETE programme and the Regional Operational Programmes.
